Our lovely flat is based in a pretty tree lined street in Highgate. The apartment is small but perfectly formed! It is a studio but it has a separate kitchen (with all the. mod cons) and a separate bathroom. It´s small but charming & guests love it! The decor is fun with pops of colour & funky artwork adorning the walls and has a real cosy feel. We've kitted it out with everything you might need. You will be snug as a bug with all the little touches to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Inside the home

You've got the whole place to yourself. There's an eating/working area with comfy chairs and a fold down table overlooking the pretty Victorian, tree lined street. There's a huge wardrobe with lots of hanging space and shelves and we have an iron, ironing board and hairdryer for your use.

Highgate village is teeming with history, culture, A-list inhabitants and gastro-pubs serving delicious food. It's one of the most sought-after and picturesque London suburbs, and has long been a popular area with well-known creative individuals & celebs! Of particular architectural note is the famous Highgate Cemetery, it's definitely worth a visit. It's seemingly a fashionable place to be buried since Victorian times. It includes impressive mausoleums, some of which are Grade I listed, and it's the burial place of the socialist philosopher Karl Marx. Some areas are specially protected and can only be visited on a tour. Cemetery aside, there's heaps to do around Highgate. There's lots of great pubs that are steeped in history. In times gone by, those passing by used to "swear upon the horns" confirming their dedication to fun & merriment (you MUST check these out!). There's Hampstead Heath with the huge expanse of land & views of London to die for where you'll find Highgate Ponds where you can take a swim in warmer months; and lots of lovely walks through woodland up to Kenwood House, which is a magnificent stately home which is open to the public. At the bottom of the road there is an old railway track surrounded by woodland where you can stroll to the fab coffee shops & restaurants in Crouch End, and a mile or so further on you can reach the big open spaces in Finsbury Park, which are perfect for a long stroll.
